I am benefited from this book because I had a family member suffering from this disease. I tried many ways and consulted many doctors therefore I spent a lot of money on it but not much benefited until you know the actual reasons of the diseases and what actually it effects. After reading this book I started new techniques on patient and now have much knowledge and effects of cystic fibrosis. These diseases are very complex and must be cured as they cause extreme pain to the patient and ultimately to the people around them because they need to care the patient 24/7 during pain sessions they have. There are complete ways of prevention in contacting with these patients and how they could be dangerous in some cases but basically it is a genetic disease. So I must say that people who have this problem or associated with these patient must once read this book.

This book is a great guide full of tips and considerations necessary when dealing with a patient with cystic fibrosis.A group of friends and I worked in several hospitals in the neighborhood and we lived the experience of working with patients with this condition. So I looked for this book and I must admit that I did not know what to expect. I helped a lot to have prior information as it made our work much easier there.

It is not easy to read about this Disease but more difficult to live with it. This book provides a good content about this problem and gives a good guidance how to live with it and how to treat it. Good recommendations to friends and relatives of a person with Cystic Fibrosis, as it will help to understand the symptoms and how to help if something goes wrong.

This is a good book as an overview on how to deal with an individual with Cystic Fibrosis. It offers great tips for how you can make a suffering individual feel better and how to know when an emergency situation needs to be addressed. It's nice to have a guide to help you know how to best interact and care for a cystic fibrosis patient. This books helps you understand things from the patient's perspective. Definitely worth a read.

I felt like I wasted $2.99. Not good for people with CF who are knowledgeable about their disease already. I didn't learn anything new. I have learned more from doctors, online forums & experience. I thought there would be a lot more information than a small description of medicines or treatment and "ask your doctor". Save your money, join an online form & talk to your doctor.
